So living in Florida and trying to dress for work during the summer is one of the biggest struggles! I feel like I’m always torn because I WANT to wear a cute sleeveless dress that I can wear straight from work to dinner but when I walk into the arctic tundra that is my office, I freeze LOL! So then, I opt for my dress pants or usually leggings and MAYBE a short sleeve shirt. My outfit pictured above is the perfect example of what I usually wear. Even though it’s a super cute outfit, I want to show some tan summer legs!!!
This year, I am switching it up 🙌 I’ve been looking and finally have been able to find some cute pieces that are Florida 100 degrees appropriate as well as work professional. Luckily, I work at the beach so everything here is pretty “business casual” so for a lot of the summer I can do a lightweight top or dress and throw on a cute blazer over it. Because who takes an almost 30 years old serious under a Jaguar throw blanket at her desk?
After work, I’ll go without the blazer and keep a good pair of heels in my car to put on for dinner or drinks! Some of these outfits I’m linking in this post might be too casual for some of my girls out there but are always good for casual Friday if you can’t get away with it during the week!
