Valentine’s Day is today! I honestly love Valentine’s Day because as a woman you go through the whole day like on the edge of your seat if your man is going to surprise you with flowers or whatever! Or at least I do lol! The years that I didn’t have a boyfriend, I still enjoyed it because I would go out with my other single girlfriends and we would still have a blast!
I think now, it’s even more exciting because Sophia usually gets really excited to go to school and exchange V-day cards and candies etc with her friends! Unfortunately this year she wasn’t able to exchange cards or have a party at school due to COVID and I won’t be able to see her either just because I had COVID and now I’m caring for Randy who is still positive.
I don’t do a lot of decorating for Valentine’s Day but we do usually do a couple of days of cute shirts/sweatshirts etc! Let me tell you though, this valentine’s day has and will look a lot different than other years as I am taking care of Randy who is still recovering from COVID due to me giving it to him. That’s just a whole other story. I will say I am very thankful and very blessed that he is home for Valentine’s Day, I had prayed so hard that he would recover from COVID, and tonight as I finish this blog post he’s in the other bedroom watching tv.
I had previously written the majority of this post and it was supposed to go live last week but I just didn’t have the energy to do so. I included a cute little valentine’s day collage of gift ideas in case anyone needs any ideas for their girlfriend/wife etc. I hope everyone enjoys their Valentine’s Day regardless of who you spend it with, make sure that person knows how much you love them.
